About Us
Hey! I’m Benya Hunde, and this is my beautiful wife, Abby! Together, we own and operate Hunde Dirtworks.
We both grew up right here in the Ogden area and attended Fremont High School. I got my start in the construction industry during my senior year of high school, working on large commercial job sites. After returning home from my mission, I started working alongside my father-in-law, who is a tile contractor. Around that same time, I began picking up skid steer jobs on the side with a few buddies, and that's where Hunde Dirtworks really began.
Our very first job? Hauling old asphalt off a guy's property with a dump trailer. I thought I'd hit the big leagues! That is, until I got to the dump and realized I'd overloaded the trailer and had to shovel a bunch of it out by hand. 😅 Safe to say, we've learned a thing or two since then!
What started as a few side jobs has grown into a company offering landscaping, excavation, grading, and dirtwork services throughout Northern Utah.
From day one, our goal has been simple: build a business based on honesty, clear communication, hard work, and quality results.
We're proud to be a locally owned, family-operated business serving the same communities we grew up in. Every job, big or small, is an opportunity to earn someone's trust, and that's something we don't take lightly.
Thank you for supporting our small business and being part of our journey!
